As a child, bedtime is terrible. As an adult, bedtime is wonderful. But as a dog — bedtime is life.

Doug the Pug shared some of his secret bedtime rituals on YouTube on Thursday, which mostly consist of him looking around and cuddling with a stuffed animal pug.

The smart pup clearly values a good night's sleep.
